What happens if it rains?
Everything gets wet. But it doesn't affect the movie, so the show goes on.
How do I hear the sound from the movie?
Tune your car radio to 107.7FM. (If you don't have a radio, rentals are available)
Is there a reduced gate price if I only want to see one of the two movies showing?
Sorry, there's only one gate price. You pay for one movie - you get to see two.
Are motorhomes allowed to come to the drive-in?
Yes, we have room for campers & motorhomes, but they must park in the back rows to avoid blocking the view of other cars.
How big is the movie screen?
The screen, which sits 20' off the ground, measures 40' X 80' [3200 square feet] or is the equivalent of a 1073 inch TV screen .
When are the last movies of the season?
It depends on several factors: weather, crowd turnout, and the availability of good movies. The season has ended as early as the end of September and as late as the middle of November in past years. Watch the movie page on this site for postings .
Do you ever catch people hiding in the trunk?
Yes, some still try to get in for nothing. Modern technology is wonderful though and they usually get caught, so when we collect for trunk passengers the rate is $12.00 (for all ages).
ABOUT THE GO-KARTS . . .
How fast do the karts go?
Too fast for some, and too slow for others. They are governed at 35 km/hr, and the track is designed for that speed.
Which is the fastest kart?
Is bumping allowed?
No bumping is allowed. If a kart hits something it will shut down. If you deliberately hit or "squeeze" another kart into the guardrail, your kart will be removed and there are no refunds.
How many karts are allowed on the track at the same time?
It depends on the age and mix of the drivers, but normally 5 to 8 karts run at the same time.
What are the double karts all about?
Double karts are designed for parents to give their children a go-kart ride, since children under the age of 10 cannot drive a single kart. The driver of a double kart must be 16 years of age or older. The child gets a 'pretend' steering wheel.
ABOUT THE MINI-GOLF . . .
Do you have special rates for school groups, office groups, or birthday parties?
Yes. Group rates start at 10 people. The go-kart rates drop to $10.00 (from $11.00) and mini-golf rate drops to $5.50 (from $6.50).
Are you open 7 days a week?
No, but we will open up for groups of ten or more (by appointment) on our off days. The minimum booking fee is $100.00.
How many holes are there in the mini-golf course?
This is an 18 hole mini-golf. The course is very attractive and interesting.
